This session will focus on the information and details the people you work with want you to know about them as you join the team.

Over the past few years there has been a lot of attention on training managers and employees on what to expect when working with someone from Gen Y. Some of this training has been helpful - and some has been based on stereotypes that are simply incorrect. Do you know what your work team expects of your generation?

After discussing some of the Gen Y information circulating out there we will turn our attention to the other generations. They are being prepared to work with you -- are you prepared to work with them? What information do they need you to understand about how they work for you to get along? Why do Gen X and the Boomer Generation approach work the way that they do? And is it really all that different?

How can you not just join the team - but rise to the top and become accepted as the leader all generations need you to be?

We'll avoid stereotypes and stick to real-life examples and facts. Bring your own struggles and successes joining existing teams and learn from each other.

A primer for any recent graduate, this session is part of our College2Corporate series that provides an inside view to how organizations operate. The goal of the series is to provide context so that new graduates can rise rapidly through their organizations into positions of leadership.
