Expert Orientation takes place once a month and is an opportunity for new Experts meet each other and receive a detailed overview of Challenge Factory, the needs of our members and their role as mentors.
The last 30 minutes of the session is a class and discussion on mentoring. We review coaching tools and techniques that will make your "day in the life" mentoring a valuable and rewarding experience. Many Experts see this session as an opportunity for their own professional development and use the tips and suggestions in their day to day careers and volunteer work.
Attending one of these sessions or meeting with a Challenge Factory staff member 1:1 is required before a Challenge Factory client can come and spend a day with you for their Immersion Experience.
