Film Maker
Brooks Hunter is the founder and principal filmmaker of Toronto-based Robanzo Pictures, a production company specializing in creating feature films, commercials, and music videos. Born in Vermont, U.S., Brooks grew up in Ottawa, Ontario with a video camera in his hands.
As a young teen, Brooks earned national and international praise as the winner of the Greenlight International Youth Film Festival’s Best Long Form Production category for his film, Dirty Cops. After graduating from Sheridan College in Media Arts in 2005, Brooks was selected to work for The Dr. Phil Show on the Paramount Pictures Lot in Hollywood, the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, and Academy Award winning producers at the Toronto International Film Festival.
At 27, Brooks has directed over 50 short films since his adolescence, has recently completed his first feature film, Kenneyville which is to be sold worldwide, and has 5 new feature films in development in 3 countries.
Challenge Factory clients spending a day with Brooks can expect to be exposed to a variety of activities and roles within the film industry - including editing, directing, sales and business discussions and on set shooting.
