Lisa Taylor is the President of Challenge Factory, helping both employees and employers embrace the “Future of Work” with solutions and strategies to supercharge workforces and capitalize on today’s trends.

Lisa offers a dynamic perspective on the Future of Work and how demographics, the freelance economy and new market dynamics present opportunities to gain strategic advantage.

Lisa is the author of “Retain and Gain: Career Management for Small Business” and "Retain and Gain: Career Management for Non-Profits and Charities, two sector-specific playbooks choc full of low-cost and no-cost activities for managers.

Lisa is a Canadian Special Operations Forces Regiment Association Board Member and a Member, Dean’s Advisory Council, The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Ryerson University. Lisa sits on the Board of Directors for CERIC and co-chairs the Marketing Committee. She is a member of the Canadian Council of Career Development Associations (CCCD) Standards and Guidelines stakeholder committee and a member of Team Canada for the 2019 International Centre for Career Development and Public Policy symposium in Norway.

Community Involvement:

Since 2011, Challenge Factory has been a supporter and partner of Homeward Bound, a unique program delivered by WoodGreen Community Services. Homeward Bound assists single, female-led families who are living in unstable conditions to make a successful transition to sustainable employment, permanent housing and independent living for themselves and their children.

“Own the Interview” is a specialized workshop co-hosted by Challenge Factory and Woodgreen Community Services that helps career transitioners sharpen their interview skills.

Coffee and Careers is a monthly community-driven conversation on top-of-mind topics lead by the ever changing Future of Work. Challenge Factory has been holding these conversations for five years and is excited to be bringing this energizing and truth-focused event to the Centre for Social Innovation.
